One of the most
interesting periods in England's history and one of
the most important was during the reign of Henry the
VIII. Due to his concern about producing an heir and
the political obstructions which stood in his way in
Rome and in England, Henry turned the English Church
and it's system of Government on end and created a
revolution in the development of Parliamentary
powers as wielded by the King. |
