	The Age of Exploration
England was one of the first European nations to reach out across the Atlantic in her search for new lands, new resources, and old trading partners. Cabot led the charge and with a growing confidence in themselves, English explorers traveler the world and eventually circled it. This was a golden age of English expansion and seafaring and set the stage for the Empire which was to develop out of these exploits.
